Description

This is actually part of a bigger picture I'm working on, but as you can see, for this picture I'm ditching my usual cartoon style and attempting to go f or semi-realistic lineless CG. I've attempted this a few times before and personally I think this is my best attempt yet, but I just want to check what you guys think.

Any critique would be helpful, but particularly on the texture, colouring and overall aesthetic of the picture rather than the proportions and stuff.

Obviously the rest of the picture's all going to be in the same style, so any help you can offer would be great.

And yes, this is story relevant. :meow: Shush.

EDIT: Changed the picture with a couple of suggested improvements. Also redid the shirt because I didn't like it. And made her arms shorter. Way shorter.

hmm, critical commentary:  the shading is a tad too messy at place and as a result looks more like its painted on than adding depth to the character. Also the shading on the hair is kinda nonsensical, it seems to lack any specific source of light.

Hopefully that's not too harsh ._., I really don't like giving out critical commentary even when people ask.

Also on the note of semi realism, I know you're not looking for criticism on the anatomy BUT just to note always be careful of eye size. I know from my own experience drawing cartoony/anime stuff I often forget human eyes are actually quite small. Giving semi realistic characters anime eyes can result in uncanny valley and make people creeped out. That's not the case here so don't worry, I just like giving out that tip to people that draw stuff like me but are trying their hand at more realistic work.
